Grading Guidelines

We aim to grade players and teams fairly, see our guidelines here.

Stick to the rules

Need a refresher on the rules?

Our Mini’s competition is made up of a few age groups, under 6, under 7, under 8 and under 9.  Once children progress from here, they move into our Juniors competition.

Tigers training takes place on a Friday night (time agreed with your coach once you are in a team) and games are played on a Saturday morning.

All games are played on the Northern Beaches for this competition.  We rotate between the home grounds of the teams within the competition.

For more details on the rules and modifications by age, see our reference guide below:

Safeguarding Children at Narrabeen Tigers Junior Rugby Club

Child Safe Commitment Statement – At Narrabeen Tigers, kids come first.

We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where every child feels welcome, respected, and confident in being themselves.

The safety and well-being of every child is our priority. It sits at the centre of how we coach, lead and operate as a club.

Everyone at Tigers has a role to play. Coaches, managers, volunteers and families are all expected to act in a way that keeps children safe, supported and respected at all times.

We make it easy to speak up. If something doesn’t feel right, we want to hear about it, and we will act.

We are committed to:
•  Creating a culture where children feel safe, heard and valued
•  Treating every child with respect, fairness and inclusivity
•  Ensuring all volunteers understand their responsibilities
•  Maintaining strong screening and Working With Children Check requirements
•  Responding quickly and appropriately to any concerns

This is not just a policy. It is how we show up as a club, every training, every game, every day.
